n honor of this Valentine's Day weekend, I thought I would give a shout out (in true celebratory fashion) to my first Boston Based same-sex wedding couple-the too cute for the camera, Chelsea and Maria! Since this weekend is "THE weekend" of LOOOVE, I could not help but share some of my favorite moments from Chelsea and Maria's outdoor summer wedding ceremony at the Longfellow's Wayside Inn. It was such fun getting to photograph two glowing brides during their individual bridal preps. Their dresses were actually made by one of their mother's which made slipping into them that much more memorable. Awesome job Mom! The girls were excited for their 1st Look and couples portraits where we snapped some photos around Longfellow Garden overlooking Josephine Pond and those famous Weeping Willow Trees. Their travel-themed wedding decor made for some great details shots and inspiration for future brides to be. I think you will love their passport wedding programs and how they used post cards form their traveling adventures as their table numbers. Way to be creative ladies:) We hope you have been enjoying your first year of marriage just as much as you enjoyed signing that Massachusetts Marriage License and that you have something extra special planned for your first Valentine's Day as a married couple. Hopefully your adventurous spirits have you traveling somewhere warm and lively away from this windy wintery Boston weather. Cheers to Chelsea and Maria. May your married life be filled with love and many more globe-trotting excursions.
